Well hello there...
I'm Lozz, founder of The Quirky Bird Emporium which is inspired by my love for things a little bit different, colourful, playful and funny. There's nothing worse than hours spent trawling the internet to find accessories and gifts that genuinely evoke that wow factor. So the collection you'll find in our shop tries to create some little wow moments as we all need that in life!
So it's from here that the idea and mission of QBE was crafted. They say in a world where you can be anything be kind - I also think it's about being unafraid to be you too. Life's too short to be anyone else, so I hope you're able to celebrate your quirks and favourite things and find that special something that goes beyond the ordinary and makes you smile out loud.

My favourite things: Sherlock Holmes, Stitch, escape rooms, jigsaw puzzles, travel adventures and candles. Oh and my family of course, including my much-loved fur ball and diva dog, Lacey.
Lacey - Head of Office Operations
While my mum Lozz thinks she is the head of things around here, I actually bring plenty to the (snack) table too. As well as notifying her when the postman has arrived (which I'm rather good at), on rare occasions, when I'm not busy with everything else around here, I'll open the mail for her.
I am also the QBE wellbeing champion, so remind the team to get away from the desk for regular walks and a little playtime when she's being dull and staring at some screen that doesn't even have Paw Patrol on it. And if the stress levels are getting a bit much around the office, I kick things off with some puppy dog eyes, and enforce mandatory lap cuddles and face licks, it works every time.
I am also a big advocate on reducing food waste, so always there to lend a paw to ensure every last crumb and morsel finds its way to a good home. Oh, and I also oversee and model for some of the pet-inspired products in the shop - just waiting for my big break with Vanity Fur. In short, as I'm very modest, and you may not have guessed but I do virtually everything around here.
My favourite things: barking, biscuits (especially hobnobs when they're not being rationed), bones, cuddles, snoozing in the sunshine and walking in our local country parks.
